I am a secondary trained English teacher and current HoD. I have taught a range of subjects for over a decade including KS2 and KS3 Humanities and even some PE too, I have also been part of a KS3 pastoral team. All my resources that are uploaded are taken from what I deem to be my better lessons or from what have been my most impactful on students' engagment and outcomes too. I hope they help as a time-saver or even a starting point for you too.

Why go to a place of worship? Multi-faith views bundle of 8 lessons

A series of several lessons with differentiated success criteria and resources included. All lessons are included in the PPT which guides you through a suggested sequence. All resources, homeworks and worksheets are included and links to videos and websites stated and linked in the PPT where appropriate. This was used with a mixed ability year 6 group but would also be suitable for KS2 and lower KS3 classes. Cross-curricular links with IT and Art which my students really enjoyed as a means of expressing their views and opinions. There is a mix of challenge questions, a homework task, research tasks, video links and group and paired work all included. Use, edit and enjoy!

Included in this is a PPT containing a discussion based lesson of approximately 55 minutes. There is a differentiated success criteria for each student to aim for and assess themselves against at different points as a mini-plenary as well as a challenge question to consider throughout. It is a primarily discussion based lesson on what can be a very sensitive subject. For the main activity there is an explanation of how to best present your example and the conclusion of the activity which MUST be read prior to teaching. This was taught to a year 5 mixed ability class but could easily work for KS2. Edit, use, adapt and enjoy!
